2016 IIEA Scholarship Winners

$22,000 awarded to 34 students

Scholarship Awards

The Idaho Irrigation Equipment Association is pleased to announce it has awarded $22,000 in scholarships to 34 students for the 2016-2017 school year. These students were selected on the basis of academic accomplishments, leadership and career goals.

“These students are amazing,” said Dirk Leavitt, 2016 IIEA Scholarship Chairman. “We are able to provide scholarships to college students because of the generous donations of our member companies and from the profits of the Idaho Irrigation Equipment Show and Conference.”

The judges award points for the students’ grade point average, extra-curricular activities, overall impression and field of study.  The IIEA has awarded 663 scholarships totaling $402,500 since 1980.

The following students will receive a college scholarship in 2016: Lauren Anderson, Eric Ball, Annalise Barrott, Ethan Brandt, Hanna Chaffin, Janae Chandler, Morgan Cortez, McKenzie Forsberg, Chrystal Godfrey, Rachel Gross, Gretchen Hansten, Dillan Henslee, David Hokanson, Shandler Kidd, Jeremy Leavitt, Breeanna McCook, Noah Mosier, Justin Nesbitt, Kristin Nesbitt, Sierra Norman, Kaedy Pardew-Peck, Gerritt Rawlings, Gunnar Rawlings, Lexus Rawlings, Julia Reese, Jacob Reinecker, Chad Searle, Colby Searle, Bailey Storms, Dustin Winston, Ashley Woods, Allysha Yasuda, Elaine Zabriskie, and Mathew Zimmerman.
