The 2020 Idaho Irrigation Equipment Show & Conference is scheduled for January 15-16, 2010 at the Best Western Plus Burley Inn & Convention Center, Burley, Idaho. Vendor packets will be emailed to IIEA Members in mid-October.

Marvin Pascual, CGIA, CIC, CID, CLIA, has volunteered to teach a one-day condensed version of the Principles of Irrigation class to Idaho Irrigation Equipment Association members. Marvin is currently employed by Reinke Manufacturing Company and is serving as a Board Member for the Idaho Irrigation Equipment Association. He is offering this class at no charge. However, he asks that you purchase your text book from the Irrigation Association by December 17th.
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This class will cover soil-water-plant-relationships, advanced hydraulics, electricity, pumps, specialty valves and irrigation equipment. This class will provide eight continuing education credits from the Irrigation Association. You don’t have to be interested in IA certification to take this class.

ORDER YOUR BOOK: The Principles of Irrigation, 3rd Edition can be purchased directly from the Irrigation Association online store. Click on book photo. The book costs $66 for IA members and $90 for non IA members. Unfortunately the IA cannot extend the member pricing for the manual to IIEA members. You must purchase your book by December 17th. EXAMS: If you are interested in becoming a Certified Irrigation Designer, or want to take any other Irrigation Association Exam, exams will be given on Friday, January 11th, 2019 at the Idaho Power Company Conference Room, 2420 Chacartegui Ln., Nampa, Idaho. The exam is from 8 am to 12 noon. To register for the certification exam you must fill out a separate application and registration form. Exam registration forms are due no later than Monday, December 17th. IIEA members may take exams at the IA member rate. Prices vary depending on the exam.
