Dallin Polson was born and raised on a small farm in Rigby, Idaho. At the age of 15 years old, he earned his Eagle Scout award. Polson attended Rigby High School, where he gained an interest for engineering and played multiple sports. He was a starter on Rigby High School’s basketball team, which took first place in the 2012 Idaho 4A mens basketball tournament. Polson graduated Rigby High School with high honors in 2012. He served a two-year Italian speaking mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Milan, Italy. After his return, he started school at Utah State University. He is currently a senior studying civil engineering. He maintains a 3.81 GPA. Polson has been involved with the student government and the USU Steel Bridge Team. As a member of the USU Steel Bridge Team, Polson and his teammates recently placed in regionals and qualified for the national competition. During the summers of college, Polson has successfully completed internships with Forsgren Associates, Cache Landmark Engineering, and Freeport McMoRan. He is excited to work for MWH Constructors this upcoming summer constructing the new Logan, Utah wastewater treatment plant. After his undergraduate degree, Polson plans to continue his studies and pursue a masters degree. He hopes to become a project manager leading water transport projects. In 2016, Polson married Rebecca Parkes; they are happily married to this day and are expecting their first child this upcoming August.
