Ellis Kay Stanger Memorial Scholarship Recipient

Dallin Polson was born and raised on a small farm in Rigby, Idaho. At the age of 15 years old, he earned his eagle scout award. Dallin attended Rigby High School. He was a starter on Rigby High School’s basketball team, which took first place in the 2012 Idaho 4A Mens Basketball Tournament. Dallin graduated Rigby High School with high honors in 2012. He served a two-year LDS mission in Milan, Italy. After his return, he started school at Utah State University. He is currently a junior studying civil engineering. He maintains a 3.7 GPA. Dallin has been involved with the student government and the USU Steel Bridge Team while attending Utah State University. During the summers of college, Dallin has successfully been hired on for internships with Forsgren Associates, Cache Landmark Engineering, and Freeport McMoRan. After his undergraduate degree, Dallin plans to continue his education. He hopes to become a project manager over different kinds of construction projects. In 2016, Dallin married Rebecca Parkes, they are happily married to this day.
