Project Detail

Kaedy Pardew-Peck grew up in Eagle, Idaho working on her family’s farm growing and harvesting alfalfa and grass hay for their livestock. A junior at the University of Idaho, Kaedy is majoring in Agribusiness with minors in Marketing and Accounting. She has been involved in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) Student Affairs Council Officer Team serving as the Communications Chair. This semester, Kaedy has also been able to assist Dr. Aaron Johnson with the Agricultural Economics 333: Introduction to Sales course. She works as a teaching assistant to help students develop their sales and marketing skills for their selected interest in agribusiness communications. Every spring semester during her three years at the University of Idaho, Kaedy has been involved with the Idaho State FFA Leadership Conference facilitating a variety of events and community service opportunities for FFA members. During spring recess, Kaedy had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Ireland with seven other students from the University of Idaho to tour the country and learn about Irish agriculture and their role in global food markets. Kaedy’s career goal is to connect her passions and education towards the successful growth of agriculture in local, state, national and/or world markets and strive for community sustainability and to advocate for the literacy of agriculture.
