Karmella Dolecheck graduated as a valedictorian from Twin Falls High School in 2008. She is now a junior at Utah State University majoring in animal, dairy and veterinary science with an animal and dairy science emphasis and an agribusiness management minor. At school she is in involved in the university Honor’s Program, Service Learning Scholars, Animal Science Club, Collegiate 4-H, and College of Agriculture student council. Karmella also served as a College of Agriculture Ambassador during 2010-2011 which involved visiting regional high schools to recruit students into agricultural programs. Karmella has been appointed to the Dean’s List every semester of school, earned a Utah State Academic A-pin, and is the 2010 College of Agriculture Scholar of the Year at USU. After earning her B.S. degree, Karmella hopes to continue in school to get a masters degree and then get involved in farm management.
