Kyle Isham is a 2014 graduate of Butte County High School. During high school, he averaged a 4.0 GPA and graduated at the top of his class. He grew up in a small town called Howe, Idaho where he worked on his family farm. This allow Kyle to fall in love with the agriculture world which caused him to want to further his education. During his freshman year at the University of Idaho, he was nominated for the outstanding freshman award. Kyle graduated from the University of Idaho in the fall of 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in sustainable crop and landscape systems. He is now getting his master’s degree with the University of Idaho in plant science. He is currently finishing his first semester of his graduate program and will be conducting his research in the summer in Aberdeen, Idaho with the wheat breeding program. Once he is finished with his master’s degree, Kyle hopes to get a job working in the agriculture industry as a plant breeder.
