Kyle Isham is a 2014 graduate of Butte County High School. During high school, he averaged a 4.0 GPA and graduated at the top of his class. He grew up in a small town called Howe, Idaho where he worked on his family farm. This allowed Kyle to fall in love with the agriculture industry which caused him to want to further his education. Kyle graduated from the University of Idaho in the Fall of 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in sustainable crop and landscape systems. He is now getting his master’s degree with the University of Idaho in plant science. He is currently finishing his second year of his Graduate program and will be finishing his research this coming summer in Aberdeen, Idaho with the wheat breeding program. Kyle is also going to get a couple manuscripts completed and submitted to a journal for publishing. Once he is finished with his master’s degree, Kyle hopes to get a job working in the agriculture industry as a plant breeder.
