Morgan Cortez is a 2014 graduate of American Falls High School. While in high school, Morgan was very involved in FFA, Youth City Council, 4-H, Junior Red Angus Association of America (JRA), and the North American Junior Red Angus Association (NAJRA). Morgan served as the 2013-2015 national secretary for the NAJRAA. Morgan is an avid showman and has been awarded back-to-back Overall Grand Champion Showman and Grand Champion Market Beef at the Power County Falls Fair. She enjoys helping the younger participants in 4-H learn more about their beef projects and hosts many clipping and fitting clinics in the summer. Morgan is currently attending Casper College in Wyoming and competing on the Casper College Collegiate Livestock Judging Team while earning a degree in Agribusiness. She hopes to transfer to Utah State University to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Agri-Business with a minor in Market and Management. Morgan looks forward to a career in the agricultural industry and also building a successful cattle operation.
