Preston Searle is the fourth generation of his family to live in Shelley Idaho. He was an active member of his local FFA chapter and was awarded the state degree as well as state star in agribusiness. He was also a member of his county’s 4-H program, where he raised market swine. Outside of agriculture, he was a member of a service group called Natural Helpers, which helps students who struggle with social issues and depression. He was also a member of the National Honor Society. After graduating, Preston worked for Valley Wide Agronomy as well as the Idaho Transportation Department. He is currently a sophomore at Brigham Young University-Idaho, where he is studying agribusiness management. He hopes to use his degree to become a farm manager.
