Preston Searle is a 2013 graduate of Shelley High School. He was an active member of the Shelley FFA chapter while there and received his state degree, as well as the state star in Agribusiness. He enjoyed competing in many of the career development events. During his time with the FFA, his favorite event was livestock judging. His involvement in 4-H helped prepare him to do livestock judging. In 4-H he raised market swine which taught him to judge hogs, and he learned from friends raising other projects how to judge cattle and lambs. Preston is currently an online student at BYU-I and plans to move onto campus as a full-time student for either the fall or winter semester of 2018. He plans to graduate with an Agribusiness degree, and wants to use his degree to be a farm manager. He loves to work and is excited about the challenges and learning that will come as he works towards getting his degree as well as working in the agricultural sector.
