Auguste Curtis grew up in Twin Falls and is a 2016 graduate of Filer High School and just earned her Associates of Science in Agriculture Business from Linn Benton Community College in Albany, Oregon. She was a member of the LBCC Livestock Judging Team and the Leadership in Ag Club. In high school, Auguste was an active member and officer of the Filer FFA Chapter, Key Club, Art Club, and National Honor Society. Auguste was also the South Magic Valley District FFA Secretary and has competed in many Career Development Events at the district, state, and national levels. She continues her passion and love for beef cattle and the industry as she is now a leader of the Beef Unlimited 4-H Club. She always loves to give back to the community as she often volunteers at the Salvation Army and did many community activities through FFA, Key Club, and NHS. Her ultimate career goal is to run her Angus herd on a ranch of her own someday. This fall, Auguste is planning to attend the University of Idaho where she will be continuing her education in Agribusiness, Communication, and Leadership.
