Eric Ball is a sophomore at the University of Idaho, double majoring in Crop Management, and Agricultural Business, with hopes to become either an agronomist, or an agricultural lender. He is involved in several clubs including the Food and Agricultural Business Club, Collegiate Farm Bureau, and CALS Student Affairs Council, all of which he holds officer positions in. Eric is a member of Alpha Gamma Rho, a fraternity based in agriculture, where he serves as the chapter’s recruitment officer. He recently was accepted into the Barker Capital Management and Trading Program, where he will expand his knowledge on how to use the futures and options markets, in both a risk, and capital management setting. Eric hopes to be able to combine these skills, along with his economic and agronomic learning, to help keep farmers in business for years to come.
