Rachel Gross is a 2012 graduate from Skyview High School in Nampa, ID. In 2013, she graduated from Big Bend Community College with an Associates of Art and Science with high honors. After which she completed an international agricultural exchange program where she worked on a cotton farm in New South Wales, Australia for seven months. She is currently completing her second year at the University of Idaho majoring in Sustainable Cropping systems with a minor in horticulture. She spends her free time participating in the Plant Soil Science Club, the fastpitch softball club, Collegiate FFA and working in the plant biotechnology lab as a research assistant at the University of Idaho. She is excited to begin the INBRE (IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence) fellowship this summer.
